La Granja designs a Program to train the emotional competences and social and personal skills of pupils using a powerful practical method with guaranteed results. With follow-up and counseling service for teachers during the school year. The effectiveness of the Método La Granja® is guaranteed when they leave the classroom to do Outdoor Training activities designed to get a better grasp of who the kids are from a different perspective; making the unconscious surface to become conscious,  generating changes in individual activities and modifying group behaviour.

This is an  educational program, that uses methodologies in which games and challenges are the main focus for achieving student motivation.

Prices 2020/2021:

infant ed – 44,80€/pupil (10.5 hours training)

1st Term (september/october): Day visit titled “Autonomy” for training the ability to search for resources and move to action… also to make them aware of their capabilities. All day visits include counseling so you can share the experience with parents and thus apply a systemic approach that will slowly lead to creating awareness in the family environment.

2nd Term (february/march): Day visit titled “Courage and overcoming fears” to learn how to manage fear in a positive way, so as to make it smaller and thus feel more self-sufficient.

3rd Term (may/june): Day visit titled “Team work” to understand feeling linked to others and the sense of belonging, stemming from feeling self-sufficient (yes I can). Includes closure of program.

6-7 year olds – 44,80€/pupil (10.5 hours training)

1st Term (september): Day visit titled “Empathy and learning to say no”, to become aware of our emotions and train them to get along with others, also enabling them to set limits when relating to others. All day visits include counseling so you can share the experience with parents and thus apply a systemic approach that will slowly lead to creating awareness in the family environment.

2nd Term (february/march): Day visit titled “Positive communication” to acquire awareness, obtain resources for communication and improve relations between classmates, taking into consideration what each of them feels.

3rd Term (may/june): Day visit titled “Cohesion” to train trust in oneself and in others and responsibility versus our fellow students, in order to improve team work. Includes closure of program.

1st Term (september): Day visit titled “Self-esteem” to become aware of the positive and negative opinions they have of themselves, and acquire tools to increase self-esteem in a healthy way. All visits include counseling so you can share the experience with parents and thus apply a systemic approach that will slowly lead to creating awareness in the family environment.

2nd Term (february): Day visit titled “We are a class, we are a team” for acquiring self-knowledge, strengthening links with others and feeling part of the group with the aim of improving the way we see and feel about ourselves.

3rd Term (april): Day visit titled “Bathing in the woods” to pace oneself by slowing down, breathing deeply, learning to listen “actively” and training the ability to concentrate, as well as improving empathy between classmates to increase their self-esteem. Includes closure of program.

10-11 year olds – 49,90€/pupil (13 hours training)

1st Term (september): Day visit titled “Conflict management” for understanding what conflicts are and acquiring tools to manage them in a positive way. Training them from the beginnning of the school year for the secondary school they will attend the following year. All visits include counseling so you can share the experience with parents and thus apply a systemic approach that will slowly lead to creating awareness in the family environment.

1st Term (november): Training in school of “Why we get angry”. We will go to the school for this training that will help to understand how the reptilian brain works and provide tools for emotional self-control. Duration 1.5hrs.

2nd Term (january): Day visit titled “Tolerating frustration” for learning emotional self-control when they realize that we cannot always get what we want… pupils will learn tools to manage and cope with frustration, and knowledge of their threshold of tolerance.

3rd Term (march/april): Day visit titled “Stress and anxiety” and “We are a team” to understand the difference between them (stress and anxiety), gain awareness of when they have these feelings, and learn to control them. Also includes an activity to promote team work and increase the links that bind them together as a group. Includes closure of program.

1st Term (september): Day visit titled “We are a class, we are a team” to begin the school year getting to know each other, generating friendship and peeling off labels. All visits include counseling so you can share the experience with parents and thus apply a systemic approach that will slowly lead to creating awareness in the family environment.

1st Term (november): Training in school of “Why we get angry”. We will go to the school for this training that will help to understand how the reptilian brain works and provide tools for emotional self-control. Duration 1.5hrs.

2nd Term (january): Day visit titled “Dear cell phone, I can’t live without you” to learn to manage social networking in a positive way, and make them aware of what their cell phone truly adds or takes away from their life; they can become conscious of the difference between real life and virtual relations and improve bonding between members of the class.

3rd Term (march/april): Day visit titled “Conflict management” for understanding what conflcits are and acquiring tools to manage them in a positive way, for example, positive communication. Includes closure of program.

1st Term (september): Day visit titled “Learning to say no” to begin the school year increasing pupil self-esteem and enabling them to set limits when relating to others, by learning how to say “no” or “enough!”. All day visits include counseling so you can share the experience with parents and thus apply a systemic approach that will lead to creating awareness in the family environment.

1st Term (november): Training session at school titled “Mannequin Challenge”. We will go to the school for this session that will serve to help them understand what basic emotions are for, why we feel them and how to control them. Duration 1.5hrs.

2nd Term (january): Day visit titled “Anxiety, stress and responsibility” for learning to manage the pressure related to what is “expected” from them, the responsibility in their path to growing up, and the difference between anxiety and stress, by providing them with tools to live in the present.

3rd Term (march/april): “Pro-activity” to understand self-leadership, self-motivation and inspire them to pursue their dream. Includes closure of program.
